A Day of Bluegrass in Paradise is hosted by Benny Kimsey, located on Turtle Beach on Siesta Key. This is an event Benny started in 2003 as a way to give something back to the community that has been so gracious to him as a professional Realtor, neighbor, and friend. Benny grew up in the Georgia Mountains where he had the privilege to see such acts as Flatt & Scruggs, Osborne Brothers, Bill Monroe, Jim & Jessie, and many others at the Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiawassee, Georgia. It's all in the name of supporting a good cause and spreading the gospel of this wonderful music. This event is a fun-filled day and a great way to enjoy family entertainment for all ages. It is free and the Red Cross volunteers are there to accept donations for hurricane relief.
